Overall, it is a great golf course, but the grass and bunkers on some of the courses are in disrepair. The card road is narrow and the route is confusing, so you need to be careful when driving the cart.

Used in June 2024. It's a slightly expensive public course on the weekend, P4500 + cart fee P1000 + caddy fee P600 ~.The clubhouse is clean and spacious. You can also use the shower. (There was a bathtub, but it was filled with water instead of hot water)The course is somewhat mountainous. During the dry season, the grass seemed to have withered in many places, but now that the rainy season has arrived, the grass has come back to life. It's not that narrow, but when you get into the rough, there are a lot of bare spots and the grass gets tangled, so it's quite a struggle.I thought the greens were generally narrow. On top of that, the pin is relatively close to the edge, so it's quite difficult to approach. It's good that it's relatively close to Makati and BGC.Please note that telephone reservations were accepted from 3 days in advance.

This is a very nice place and close enough to the city to take a quick drive to hit a few balls in the driving range. The golf course itself is nice and long. It's a great course to really work on your ball striking since mishits will feel painfully short. There are holes that are unforgivingly narrow and others that have a more generous landing pad for slicers and hookers. Overall, for the money, I think you get more value playing here than at the Navy Golf Club. You pay about the same but you get so much more course at Hallow Ridge. I would also suggest always getting a cart since it feels like the length of the course almost requires it. Plus I'm sure the flight behind you will thank you for the pace.Update as of July 2024: I went here today with my wife and another player and his wife. Our wives were nice enough to accompany us for Sunday golf even if they didn't play. When I asked the registration how much it would cost to have our wives join us but not play, I was shocked that they charge the full player rate for non-players! To make matters worse, they said that our wives were NOT ALLOWED to go down from the cart! To their defense, I suspect the policy is there to discourage other people from trying to "cheat" and claim actual players are non-players on a flight BUT the policy effectively discourages people from bringing non-players to a course. I guess there are merits to this but I would think golf already has so many barriers to entry (equipment cost, green fees, inherently difficult to learn), you really want people to choose a different place to play because you are afraid people will try to cheat the system? I would have chosen to enforce the rules instead, but that's just me. Suffice it to say, I will not be coming back with my wife to Hallow Ridge.

Played 4th may 24.The course was absolutely rubbish. The fairways had more sand than anything. Balls were running all over the place. The slow play here was also terrible - the marshal was almost inactive.Allegedly this area has had no rain for the past 9 months so it was just dry and very arid. The green however were STICKY AF.The lockers were not too bad however. They sell 2nd hand balls at 300php at the main lobby. The lobby resto was also good.Note: THE CADDY FEE IS PAID DIRECTLY TO THE CADDIE. THE CLUB TAKES NOTHING FROM THE CADDIE. ( Usually many cubs will take from player and add into bill) HOWEVER, DO NOTE THAT SOME OF THE CADDIES WILL ASK FOR TIPS - THIS IS DEEMED AS NOT NEEDED. The club, as clear as it was in explaining, made no further elaboration on the tipping and such.Should the fairway be back to it's good condition, this course is a good place to come and be prepped for LONGG tee offs because this course is LONG!

Great golf course! Although bit expensive since it's a public course, but foreigner friendly. All staff are very nice and accommodating.

The golf course design is good but some of the bunkers are not suitable to play due to the absence of playable sands. Driving range is worst and not properly managed, they stopped people from driving when it’s running out of balls and it would take about 15 to 30 minutes for the Tee girls to pick up the balls and resume. The OIC who is also a waitress there is rude and doesn’t even listen for suggestions to allow the ball picking equipment which is working properly to continue picking so as not to disrupt the momentum of the people driving. Or otherwise, why not add plenty of balls to avoid shortage that’s simple and basic when you run a driving range business.
