Fairways are better now than 10years ago. Now , very well manicured and more beautiful trees around the greens. Restaurant is clean and neat.

Great golf course and in fabulous shape despite the downpour the night before. It's definitely a challenging course for golfers of different calibres.The clubhouse is quaint and comfy serving great tasting food.The locker rooms are clean and have strong showers and good attendants.I wouldn't hesitate to come back to play here once again on the next invitation.

This is a challenging but manageable course. The weather is perfect as the location is elevated, this a perfect place to retire.

It was my first time to eat out during this pandemic. It was nice because we felt safe since the set up is outside with proper health protocols observed. Food was also good. Perfect for snacks! There's also a field where you can have kids play and run around to enjoy the fresh air and cool breeze in Lipa. I highly recommend this place!

Played my first round there yesterday and enjoyed every moment! Wonderful course.The holes are patterned after famous ones in well-known courses around the world. The one I knew well was the 13th, a par-3 over water that is a copy of Augusta National. Happy to par it!Summit has wide, generous fairways but plenty of bunkering beside the greens and also near landing areas on the fairway. I liked the bunkers because there was a firm layer of sand underneath the top soft layer. I got up and down from the beach three times, which is rare for me.Robert Trent Jones Jr. has made tricky, undulating greens that can be hard to read, but are fair. They were pretty quick when I was there, maybe 9 on the stimp. There are about 3 kinds of grass on the greens already but it wasn't a problem.The holes are a good variety of easy, medium, and hard. 7 is a tough par 4 with a hazard all along the right side. 18 is a par 5 that curves around a lake. There are five par-3s and they are all lovely.Native carabao grass (axonopus compressus) has overrun the fairways and that is fine. The club just let nature take its course and that is a good move. The grass is lush and the ball sits up well. Maintenance I am told is inexpensive since there is no need to put herbicide. Summit is proof that you don't need fancy Bermuda grass fairways to have a beautiful course. I am told the course drains well despite the fact that the paspalum or Bermuda is almost gone in the fairways.The only small thing I could possibly complain about are the ponds. The water is murky brown in color.The French Colonial clubhouse is well-maintaned. Interesting that the locker room has a VIP section.Summit is private but non-members can play if endorsed by a member.Summit, Malarayat, and even Fernando Air Base make Lipa a great destination for a golf vacation. The fact that the town is 300 meters above sea level makes for cool mornings and late afternoons.

Each hole was inspired by other golf courses' signature holes. You've got Pebble Beach, Augusta National, Spyglass, etc. Too bad we realized this on the last 3 holes. Good experience all in all. Played on a Sunday with a big group too.

Great place - have all indoor and outdoor sports facilities! Top quality equipment and service! We held one of our sportsfests here!Nice quarters for men and women!
