Art In Island

Art in Island is an interactive 3D art museum situated in Cubao, Quezon city, Philippines. As one of the largest museums of its kind in Asia, it spans an impressive 3,800 square meters. This expansive space is dedicated to providing a unique and immersive art experience.

The museum features over a hundred 3D paintings and optical illusions, all meticulously created by a talented group of Korean artists.

These artworks are designed to engage visitors in an extraordinary way, allowing them to step into the scenes and become the subjects of the art themselves.

Unlike traditional museums where touching the exhibits is forbidden, Art in Island encourages interaction, inviting guests to touch, pose with, and even climb onto the displays. This approach transforms the typical museum visit into a dynamic and playful exploration of art, making it a popular destination for families, friends, and tourists looking to capture imaginative and fun photographs.

Art in Island’s “Hiwaga ng Pilipinas” is an exhibit that showcases the rich culture, history, and natural beauty of the Philippines through interactive 3D art. This section features immersive artworks that highlight Filipino traditions, iconic landmarks, and local folklore, allowing visitors to engage deeply with the country’s heritage.

The Media Square is an event space within the museum that hosts various multimedia exhibitions, events, and activities, complementing the interactive 3D art experience offered by the main museum.

The combination of artistic creativity and visitor participation makes Art in Island a standout attraction in the region.

Some highlights of the museum include themed zones such as:

Aqua Zone: Featuring underwater scenes with marine life.

Animal Kingdom: Showcasing various animals in their habitats.

Masterpieces: Replicas of famous paintings with a twist, allowing visitors to interact with classic art pieces in novel ways.

Fantasy: Enchanting and magical scenes that transport visitors to whimsical worlds.

Philippine Pride: Showcasing Filipino culture and landmarks.

The museum also hosts events and offers services for private functions, making it a versatile venue for a wide range of activities.

So, which is better, Time & Space Cube + or Art in Island? To find out the answers, I checked Art in Island one lazy afternoon to provide an objective and fair comparison. In terms of space - Art in Island. It has a lower and upper floor, very spacious and you can lounge in its stadium sized hologram room. Time & Space Cube can be cramped when crowded.Special effects - Time & Space Cube has the slight advantage. Art in Island hologram effects are unique, big wow factor and offer different visuals, I'm very much satisfied with what I've seen.Entertainment value - it's a tie. I had a fun time in both places.Staff - both are accommodating, kind and gracious towards the patrons.Price - Art in Island P 850, Time & Space Cube P 880.The verdict: it's split between the two. Children will enjoy Time & Space Cube more, while adults will gravitate more towards Art in Island. Personally, I love both. No contest here.

For kids and adults, a very awesome place to visit. I suggest na um-outfit, very instagrammable. The 3d arts are so cool and ma-amaze na lang kayo on how they presented the arts.

Art in Island encourages you to become part of an art. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with taking pictures or guiding you on how to best interact with the exhibits. The museum is well-maintained, and the layout ensures a smooth flow, allowing you to fully enjoy each artwork without feeling rushed.

We went here as part of our anniversary and we enjoyed every minute of our visit! It features interactive art installations and light displays. You can take lots of photos to your heart's content. Just make sure you're wearing socks (but you can buy them in case you forget). There's a restaurant inside in case you get hungry afterwards (we didn't try it). It can get crowded as it's a popular attraction in the city; so if you want less crowds, go on a weekday and make it early.

We visited art in island instead of Space Time Cube due to bad reviews, and we were thrilled with our choice! Even in our 30s, we had a blast. It's super kid-friendly with lots of cool exhibits. Highly recommend for families!

It’s awesome!!!Definitely worth it to stay for whole day.The space is huge and most of show rooms are very creative and beautiful!!!3D painting is not my type but I love all the projection designs so much.I‘m very satisfied to bring my friend here in the Saturday afternoon. We had lots of fun and took a lot of pictures and videos.Btw, the socks are necessary because they’ll ask the visitors to deposit their shoes. It costs PHP 150 if you‘d like to buy the socks from the booth.

Went here on a weekdays to test my friend’s new camera. The place is nice but I suggest you plan your visit since it’s best appreciated with minimal guests. We arrived there 1hr or so before a group of students filled the place. PRO cameras are allowed but you are not allowed to use any lights (flash, static light, etc). Best place to chill is 1st floor while the best place to shoot is the 2nd floor.
