To a golf course near ManilaA golf course with good cost-effectiveness, and the price is cheap for my friend.There are some holes where the greens are in bad condition.Just a place worth hounding

The stadium is so poorly maintained that it is very difficult to play. There is very little grass, so it is more advantageous to hit the ball into the rough rather than the fairway.Shower facilities are also poor.

I didn't have high expectations because the entrance to the golf course was messy and untidy, but the course itself was cute and had many beautiful trees, so the scenery was nice.

Remarkably well-maintained golf course considering the share price is so low.This is a Jack Nicklaus layout and you see similarities to Southwoods, another JN signature course. The greens are small, narrow, and at an angle to the fairway. You need to strike the ball well and pitch and putt well . So often you will need a pitch with very little room to work with.Greens are super fast and true. I hear though they will be changing them to tifeagle.The big surprise is the quality of the fairways. Most clubs with Bermuda grass fairways struggle with native grass infestations. Not Sherwood. There are only a few patches here and there. The fairways are better than those in Orchard, Eagle Ridge, East ridge, Forest Hills, and even Ayala Greenfield. Amazing. Only Sta. Elena is better at warding off the Carabao grass.Perhaps the only thing that needs fixing on the course are the bunker edges. They are ragged.Holes 9, 10, 16, and 18 are memorable. Both nines end with water troubling your approach either side.The clubhouse is old and needs sprucing up, but it's ultimately acceptable. The showers and toilets are fine and the actual locker unit is massive.The veranda offers a great view of the 18th.I give Sherwood 5 stars because of the great maintenance of it's course and the lovely layout. The share price is P170,000 all in, according to the club share broker listings. That makes it a real steal.Sherwood is a long way away from Manila like, about 1:45, but once the Calax is up in about 2021 it should only take an hour from Manila.
