Even though it is a hot region, there was a cool breeze in early May. The round trip from Manila took quite a while and the traffic was huge. The golf course wasn't that bad.

Loved the views and the course. Although the fairways can be better, the course does give you a lot to experience. The gorgeous views truly make it joyous. Caddies need a bit of work but players like me too need to be better haha. Try it once, its nice.

A very good 18 hole golf course that will prove challenging for most golfers. A country club that will allow non-members to reserve tee times and to play. Holes 2 and 8 require 170+ yard and 195+ yard tee shots respectively to carry over the gorges to the fairways. Plenty of sand bunkers guarding most greens and some of the fairways at their mid-point and beyond. Water on occasion also factors in, especially near the 18th green. Locals get discount green fees making the overall cost a reasonably good value. Caddies are seasoned assistants with good infomation on distances and advice for green putting. Nice club house with a good restaurant.

One of the Best Golf Courses I’ve been to. Well maintained and challenging fairways. Friendly staffs and caddy’s. Overlooking Taal Volcano.

Very nice golf course in Taal volcano area. Layouts are great and many challenges holes for gollf to try. Price is good in moderate range. Golfer must try.

Really enjoyed my round here. The layout is very good, with plenty of ravines and water hazards. Fairways are not too narrow.The back nine is easier than the front. The first nine features a par 5 with a carry over a ravine, I believe hole 3. Of note is the par 3 eight, which is also over a ravine. I needed a driver and got on the green, but on the back part. It's a two tiered green so I three-putted.It's a picturesque course as well, with some lovely views.Greens were decent but the fairways ragged at the end of summer. There were a few sprinkler heads that were bubbling water while I was playing. Some investment is needed.Clubhouse has a California Mission feel somewhat like Sherwood Hills, but much better maintained. I liked the large and comfortable locker room.I will definitely be back. Splendido is a very decent alternative to Highlands and Midlands if you are a golfer in Tagaytay.
